Hi Jerry, Here are my comments: 1) TSC2013-Q1 is a dual touch controller, which supports up to 2 fingers. For single touch, it can report very precise x&y coordinates. For dual touch, this device is able to provide enough information which could be easily translated to different gestures, such as zoom in/out, rotate. You can find the reference firmware here : . In addition, a reference Linux driver is also available : Here are other useful materials: http://e2e.ti.com/support/other_analog/touch/w/wiki/3128.resistive-tsc-calibration http://e2e.ti.com/support/other_analog/touch/w/wiki/3118.tsc2013-q1-schematic-checklist 2) See the slide below 3) See the first comment. 4) TSC2013-Q1 works with normal 4-wire resistive touch panel, but we recommend "light" touch panels with low activation force (center area: 10g ~ 30g) to get better touch feelings. I think you can find these panels easily from Panasonic or Fujitsu.
