We are finding issues with regard to the I2C interface. When running our software we have found that if we reset our unit multiple times the DRV2604L becomes unresponsive even though this device is not reset by the hardware. We have tried toggling the DEV_RESET bit but as the device is unresponsive we are not able to do this. I have tried to debug this with boundary scan and I have noticed that if I do not have the Device Enable pin set high I cannot access it over the I2C bus but I find no mention of this in the datasheet. I also seem to have issues reading some registers from the I2C bus when this is enabled. Can you please help explain this behavior?
