Hi Kate, Sorry for the delay. Both solutions are possible. You could connect multiple DRV8662 devices to the same microcontroller and then turn the DRV8662 on/off using the Enable pin. This gives the advantage of being able to drive multiple buttons at the same time. The challenges would be determining how to provide the input signals. They could either all be connected to the same input or each IC has individual inputs. The other option is to drive multiple actuators with the same driver like the image you attached. This is possible by using high-voltage, low-power FET switches to switch between actuators. We are working on a reference design around this type of circuit. You can use the MCU to turn on/off the gates of the FETs. With this design, you would only be able to drive a single element at a time depending on the piezo capacitance. Our device can only provide ~1W of power. I hope this helps and please let me know if you have any additional questions.
