I received the Adafruit TMP006 breakout board, that draws exactly 240 uA and 0.4uA in standby.
I guess either the Sparkfun board of the TMP006 on that board was damaged. I did not try to solder a new one on the same board, because it's pretty tough without a professional reflow oven.
