Forum Post: RE: Driving ERM using DRV2603 haptic driver

Dear Brian,

I am also currently looking at the DRV2603 to drive my ERM motor.

How do I set the duty cycle so that the motor will experience overdrive / active braking? I noticed from other posts that we might need the GPIO and the PWM pins. Do the pins come with the driver or do we need to get it separately? Even if we do have the pins, how do we set the percentage of the duty cycle? (I am not using the evaluation board)  Do I need to design an external PWM circuit for this purpose? But I understood that the driver has this PWM / H-bridge capability built-in.

Looking forward for your advice regarding this issue.

regards,

Hazrin
