Forum Post: Touch coordinates for Saef display

Hi,

1) I am using Saef display(128X160) and tsc2046 touch device.I want to know what are the minimum and maximum coordinates for my touch.

    Since i am using 12 bit resolution,i am expecting min value to be 0 and max value to be 4095.But when i read the values i am getting minimum in between 300-400 and maximum value around 3600 to 3700.

I measured the values in four corners.One corner both values are low ,one corner both values are high,one corner  X  is high and Y is low and in other corner X is low Y is high.

I am in confusion whether the results are correct or not?
